Thank You, Master: Direct Disciples Remember Paramhansa Yogananda

Sale priceCHF 14.00

Anyone who has read and loved Autobiography of a Yogi will be delighted to find this treasure of personal experiences and heartfelt remembrances of Paramhansa Yogananda by three of his direct disciples.

Stories from Yogananda’s family members, Hare Krishna Ghosh and Meera Ghosh, who became disciples as teenagers, take the reader on pilgrimage to India to the sacred places and miraculous moments shared with this great yogi. The stories of Margaret Bowen Deitz transport one to Yogananda’s ashram in California and his time living with devotees in America.

These accounts, whether humorous or miraculous, casual or divine, bring to life the experience of being in Yogananda’s presence. They give insight into the profound love with which he guided each individual.

Yogananda was not only one of the greatest yoga masters of our time, but he was also an avatar—an incarnation of the divine. First-hand experiences from close disciples are a true gift that can help us tune into his vast nature. At the same time these delightful stories will touch your heart and uplift your spirit.

A Book That Will Change You

This book grabbed ahold of me and I could not put it down. It was a quick but powerful read. It's the sort of book that opens you up and changes you for the better. I feel like I know my Guru in an even deeper, more personal way after reading this. The retellings are poignant and moving. In its pages, you witness Master's love for humanity. You experience his joy, humor, childlike wonder and his divinity. I found my understanding of him, as both a man and an avatar, increasing with each turn of the page.

I was thrilled to find more information about Master's family, previously untold stories about his parents, Sri Yukteswar, and other notable figures.

After finishing it, I bought copies for friends and family. I look forward to reading it with my children and sharing it with devotees outside of Ananda. This book is a treasure in every sense of the word. Thank you for making it available.
